Navigating high-conflict situations with families can be challenging, especially when emotions run high, and communication breaks down. This presentation will review effective strategies for working with highly conflictual families.

OBJECTIVES

Participants will gain:

  • An overview of the challenges associated with highly conflictual families
  • The impact of ongoing conflict on family members and external systems (e.g., schools, social services)
  • The importance of effective intervention and support strategies

SPEAKER

Pamela Rak, DCSW, LCSW PC, is credentialed at the highest state and national levels with more than 34 years of experience working with families, providing mental-behavioral health counseling, divorce coaching, parent-child reunification, complex relationship counseling, and teaching at the college level. Pamela welcomes the opportunity to help clients identify problem areas and move their life forward in healthy and intentional ways.
