Rockin’ The Spectrum is a nonprofit organization providing essential support for children, teens, and adults with Autism and developmental disabilities through our adult day program, respite care, family support, and community inclusion services. We focus on safety, stability, and caregiver relief by offering structured day programming, in-home and in-clubhouse respite, and our Rockin’ Safety Initiative, which includes adaptive swimming, therapeutic horseback riding, home-safety kits, and a 6-week caregiver guidance course. We also bring inclusion into the community through our traveling sensory tent, sensory-friendly business outreach, and monthly family events such as swimming events, and so much more. Our goal is to reduce crises, prevent safety risks like elopement and drowning, support caregiver mental health, and create safe, welcoming spaces where individuals of all abilities can learn, grow, and belong.
We serve children, teens, and adults with Autism and developmental disabilities, along with their caregivers and families who are often navigating safety concerns, behavioral challenges, isolation, and limited community resources. Our programs support individuals of all abilities—including those with higher support needs, nonverbal individuals, and those who struggle with elopement, sensory regulation, and daily living skills. We also support caregivers who provide 24/7 care by offering respite, education, and community connection, ensuring families remain safe, stable, and supported.
Monday through Friday
Individuals are eligible for our programs if they have developmental, sensory, behavioral, or safety support needs that would benefit from a structured and supportive environment. Participants may experience challenges such as elopement, communication differences, sensory regulation needs, or difficulty with daily living skills. Caregivers seeking respite services must complete our registration process. There are no income requirements, and we welcome individuals of all abilities, including those with higher support needs.
Most of our programs and family events are free, but other programs such as Day Program, are out of pocket, but there are scholarship opportunities.
